Who designs the abutment for your Dess custom abutments? Can we just send an STL file with a prescription of what we want or does the abutment need to be desinged and your complany just fabricates it?

We can Design it, or you can have it designed. 
We ask that you use a Dess Scan Body for us to design it.

I’m looking to send my STL of single implants to restore and have a custom Ti abutment made and sent to me in Cary, NC. I do have TruAbutment scan bodies for Neodent GM, and that is what I’ve been using. I’ll be milling the crowns in house with my CEREC and will only need the abutment milled and delivered, so what would be the price of a custom abut (perhaps Dess?) and delivery? Currently I’m paying $240 for a TruAbutment custom Ti abutment plus a .dxd file I can use in my Primescan to design the crown. Could you also send a .dxd file after designing the abutment? Thank you!

I took a scan and designed a custom abutment using exocad and truabutment scan body. Can you all mill that if i used a truabutment scanbody?

Dess DME Library supports Tru Abutment Scan Bodies. 

Please be sure to design with the Dess DME Library 

If I upload an STL file to mill, are you able to 3D print a model for it as well?

As No we do not print models.

You would place an order for an Implant Crowns
On the Implant Crown products, the script enables you to add a cutom abutment, or ti-Base.

Do you have any warranty?

Yes. If it ever fails; we will re-mill it for free from the original file.

I see the Q&A but am hoping for clarification. If I send an STL of a bone level fixture with Dess scan body, what specifically should I add to cart for you to design/mill/post a milled custom Ti abutment, and design a screw retained crown for me to mill myself to fit on this custom abutment?

For implant Crowns, we would need to mill the crown and abutment.
We do not offer design service of the crown only when it comes to implants.

Do you do the design of crowns and custom abutments? I manufacture a lot of my own screw retained implant crowns using Dess stick abutments but am looking for a solution when I need custom abutments with cemented crowns.

Yes we do.

No, once you select how you will get the data to us, the price will reflect the cost of design in the prescription.

Do you manufacture custom titanium abutments for zimmer eztetic implants?

If they are compatible with the original Zimmer implants, then yes.

Will your lab cement the crown on the DESS and make this a screw retained crown?

Yes we will, only if you order "Stain and Glaze"
